Nichols Horticulture is a full-service landscape design company started by Jeffrey Nichols. Jeff got his first job as a landscape laborer at age 15 and soon after realized his passion for plants and outdoor spaces. After continuing to work in the landscape and nursery fields through high school and college, in 1990 he earned his Associates Degree of Science in Landscape Operations at Stockbridge School of Agriculture at Umass Amherst. Nichols Horticulture was founded in 1995 with Jeff and one other employee. Today, we have grown to be a small business with 10+ employees during the peak season. Jeff has dedicated his time and expertise to his customers to satisfy their needs with their outdoor spaces. He is personally involved with every design and construction project, hand picks plant materials for each job and uses only high-quality mulch and soil to ensure the quality of work is held to the highest standards. Because of Jeff's 36 years of experience, we can handle an array of small and large landscape projects and he has passed this knowledge along to his crew leaders. Combined, our crew leaders have a total of 20+ years of landscaping experience. We look forward to helping you create the landscape of your dreams!
